Base painting of the vintage movie poster for ''Love on a Pillow'', (French title: "Le Repos du guerrier") is a 1962 French drama film directed by Roger Vadim and starring the iconic French actress Brigitte Bardot in the lead role.
The film tells the story of Geneviève Le Theil (Brigitte Bardot), a young and affluent Parisian woman who discovers a wounded man, Renaud Sarti (Robert Hossein), in her apartment building. Geneviève nurses Renaud back to health, and he becomes infatuated with her. Despite the differences in their backgrounds and lifestyles, Geneviève finds herself drawn to Renaud's reckless and passionate nature. Their intense and tumultuous affair takes them on a journey of self-discovery and emotional turmoil.
